Instructor: Cari Junge
True health and performance aren’t just built in the gym—they’re supported by the foundation of lifestyle and recovery. In this talk, led by Professional Trainer Cari Junge, we’ll explore the 4 Pillars of Health — lifestyle, exercise, nutrition, and recovery — with a focus on the practices that make the biggest difference in performance, mobility, and long-term health.
We’ll highlight bodywork and self-care techniques, including therapeutic massage and restorative practices, that reduce soreness, prevent injuries, and enhance recovery. You’ll leave with tools to support your body between workouts, improve sleep, manage stress, and move with greater ease — no matter your age or fitness level, whether you’re a performance athlete or just starting out. Come in comfortable clothing — we just might move a bit!
Monday, April 6 | 5-6 PM | Strength Studio
Instructor: Will Caetano
Foot posture is the foundation of the entire kinetic chain. Small dysfunctions at the foot can amplify into strain and injury at the ankle, knee, hip, and back. Join Professional Trainer, Will Caetano to unlock full movement potential, focusing on these three pillars:
1. Big Toe Power – The Ignition Switch
The big toe plays a critical role in push-off and arch stability.
Rehab: Practice big toe dissociation - lifting the big toe while keeping the others grounded to restore brain-to-foot connection.
Goal: Efficient walking and powerful sprinting and jumping.
2. Structural Strength – The Non-Negotiable Anchor
A strong foot creates a stable base for heavier lifts.
Rehab: Master the “short foot” by drawing the ball of the foot toward the heel without curling the toes to engage intrinsic muscles.
Goal: Reduce energy leaks in lifts, protect the knees, and maximize force production.
3. Plyometric Elasticity – The Human Spring
High-functioning feet act like springs, absorbing and returning force efficiently.
Rehab: Use low-level pogo hops to train stiffness in the feet and Achilles.
Goal: Faster ground reaction, higher jumps, and safer, more powerful explosive movement.

Instructor: Wesley Larsen
Strength training changes the body—and also how we think, feel, and relate to ourselves. Join Professional Trainers, Wesley Larsen and Keileigh Johnson in this workshop exploring strength training as more than a physical practice, looking at how experience, motivation, self-worth, and language shape our relationship with movement and support mental well-being.
Strength as Experience: Centering how strength training feels over time, and the meaning we attach to building capacity in our bodies.
Motivation & Worthiness: Exploring why consistency isn’t just about willpower, and how values and self-belief influence our relationship with exercise.
Body, Mind & Self-Worth: Reflecting on how strength, confidence, and identity intersect in movement.
Language & Sustainability: Examining how all-or-nothing thinking can undermine motivation—and how more supportive language encourages long-term practice.
Lived Experience: Sharing trainer insights on how strength training supports mental health across life stages, without framing movement as a cure or obligation.
Reflection & Integration: Creating space to consider what strength and movement mean personally, with appreciation for effort, growth, and capacity.

Instructor: Vera Pagan
Join Professional Trainer, Vera Pagan for Part 2 of Strong & Steady as we focus on two essential pillars of stability: Hips & Glutes and Fascia & Mobility.
Strong hips and glutes create a powerful, reliable foundation for everything you do—supporting posture, balance, and efficient movement. Fascia health and mobility work help your body move with greater ease and freedom, reducing stiffness and allowing you to respond smoothly to daily activities and workouts alike.
Together, strength and mobility improve control, coordination, and confidence in your movement. This session is designed to help you feel more connected to your body, move more fluidly, and build stability that carries over into real life.
Join us to build strength, increase mobility, and elevate the quality of how you move—because feeling stable, capable, and confident in your body is something you truly deserve. We hope to see you there!
