Rabbi Jeff Dreifus

Rabbi Jeff Dreifus began serving as Temple Har Shalom’s Senior Rabbi in 2025. Prior to coming to Park City, Rabbi Jeff served as Associate Rabbi of Temple Israel in Memphis, TN, one of the largest and most historic congregations in the South. He received rabbinic ordination from Hebrew Union College in New York City in 2021. As a rabbinical student, Rabbi Jeff served congregations in Juneau, AK, and Rye, NY. Prior to beginning his rabbinical studies, Rabbi Jeff worked in investment banking and for a clean energy startup. While working in finance after college, Rabbi Jeff co-founded the TI Fellowship, which was recognized by Slingshot as one of the most innovative Jewish programs in the U.S. The TI Fellowship became a model for attracting and retaining Jewish 20-somethings for Jewish communities around the U.S. Rabbi Jeff graduated cum laude from WashU in St. Louis with a B.A. in economics and environmental studies.

In his free time, Rabbi Jeff likes to ski, hike, rock climb, and travel with his family. Rabbi Jeff and his wife Rachael are proud parents to their two children, their goldendoodle, Abbey Road, and their cat Lil.
