What’s the difference between being nice, being kind, and being courageous? Join us for an interactive Lunch & Learn exploring how kindness sometimes asks more of us than simply keeping the peace. Through real-life scenarios and conversation, we’ll consider when honesty, boundaries, speaking up, or stepping in may be the most caring response.

Join us in the Dance Hall from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. on September 14 for a free bagel lunch and an inspiring educational talk. Our inaugural JCC Lunch & Learn is with JCC CEO Raquel Scharf-Anderson. Raquel brings more than two decades of nonprofit and Jewish communal leadership experience, including senior leadership roles at the Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School in St. Louis and as CEO of the Seattle Waldorf School in Seattle.
