Foot posture is the foundation of the entire kinetic chain. Small dysfunctions at the foot can amplify into strain and injury at the ankle, knee, hip, and back. Join Professional Trainer, Will Caetano to unlock full movement potential, focusing on these three pillars:
1. Big Toe Power – The Ignition Switch
The big toe plays a critical role in push-off and arch stability.
Rehab: Practice big toe dissociation - lifting the big toe while keeping the others grounded to restore brain-to-foot connection.
Goal: Efficient walking and powerful sprinting and jumping.
2. Structural Strength – The Non-Negotiable Anchor
A strong foot creates a stable base for heavier lifts.
Rehab: Master the “short foot” by drawing the ball of the foot toward the heel without curling the toes to engage intrinsic muscles.
Goal: Reduce energy leaks in lifts, protect the knees, and maximize force production.
3. Plyometric Elasticity – The Human Spring
High-functioning feet act like springs, absorbing and returning force efficiently.
Rehab: Use low-level pogo hops to train stiffness in the feet and Achilles.
Goal: Faster ground reaction, higher jumps, and safer, more powerful explosive movement.
