Artist Statement
I paint to tell stories—moments that feel lived-in, familiar, and a little bit raw. My work leans into loose brushstrokes and bold colors because I’m chasing emotion, not perfection. Whether it’s the glow of Utah’s red rocks at sunset or the quiet weight of a glass of scotch at the end of the day, I want the viewer to feel something before they figure it out.

I use palette knives and brushes interchangeably, letting texture and movement guide the composition. Objects might be scattered, edges broken, light shifted—anything to build a sense of narrative and mood. I’m not trying to document reality; I’m trying to evoke it.
