We also have a program just for children that includes baking black-and-white cookies as well as eating dinner and watching a movie.

The JCC is a very nurturing environment. It's a community center! You make friends, you see people, and the kids running around. It's a non-threatening environment and it's certainly very accepting. There's no overt opinion or prejudice here. It's people who care and have a common spirit and it creates an environment that is just delightful.
