Policies for Strength & Cardio Rooms
Welcome to the JCC Strength and Cardio Facilities!
Whether you join the J for our best-in-the-state childcare programs, live & virtual Group Fitness classes, or are just stopping by as a guest, our Strength and Cardio Rooms are open to all. JCC memberships and Guest Passes include access to all Cardio and Strength spaces and equipment during operating hours.

Get Comfortable
We know how intimidating gym settings can be. The JCC is happy to offer a low-stress workout environment with equipment for all fitness levels with plate-loaded and selectorized machines, free weights, and props. Enjoy beautiful valley views, clean and safe equipment, and friendly all-hours staff.

JCC Strength and Cardio Room Policies
-Respect all equipment and others working out in shared spaces
-Workout attire, including shirts and closed-toe shoes, are required at all times
-Equipment must be wiped down and returned to its neutral state after use (unload plates, lower handles, return props, etc.)
-Hand weights, plates, and props must be returned to their storage after use
-Volume and exclamations should be kept to a minimum
-All space and equipment should be shared – do not loiter on equipment when not in use
-The JCC is not responsible for lost or stolen items, so store personal belongings at user’s risk
Youth Fitness Age Policies
- Children 13 years old and under are not allowed in the Strength or Cardio Rooms at any time
- Children 14 & 15 years old are allowed in the Strength or Cardio Rooms only after completion of the JCC Youth Weight Room Orientation.
Please register and sign the liability waiver
- Children 16+ years old are allowed in the Strength and Cardio Rooms at any time
