Trivia Guide/Rules

1. Teams of 1-8 players, decide on a team name. It can be funny or punny; witty or silly, but once you pick a name, it is set after the first round so decide carefully!

2. Each team needs their pack of answer pages; one page per round.

3. There will be 6 rounds. We will announce the scores so people know where their team stands. a. 10 questions per round, with each round being a different category. b. There will be approximately 1 minute per question. c. Each question will be worth 1 point; you must get the full answer for it to be considered correct.

4. No yelling out answers, right or wrong. It disrupts the game and can bother other players.

5. You're more than welcome to play by yourself, or join another team.

6. Remember, cheating at trivia is NOT COOL! BRAIN POWER ONLY! No cell phones or any type of outside sources are allowed. Teams that are reported using any outside devices will be disqualified. When we ask a question, we've researched it. The answer we have is the correct answer. Don't think so? The decision of the judges will be final and will not be subject to change. Replacement of a team member is not allowed after the start of the game. The object of the game is FUN!

7. Scorekeepers: At the end of each round, each team will bring the score cards to the scorekeepers and they will tally up the points for each team. a. Each question is one-point, total points=60. There will be 2 extra rounds prepped in case of a tie for first place. b. The winner is the team with the most points at the end of 6 rounds!!! c. If you need to use your phone, please be courteous to others and step out to call or text
