Film Description:
October 7, 2023: Liat Beinin Atzili is kidnapped from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz together with her husband Aviv. Soon her family learns that Liat is still alive and held captive by Hamas in Gaza. As wartime passions take over Israel and the entire world, as pro-Israel & pro-Palestine demonstrators clash in the streets of cities around the globe, Liat's family just want one thing: To win the race against time to bring Liat home.

Her father and mother, Yehuda and Chaya, her sister, Tal, and her son, Neta, become advocates in a struggle spanning continents. Can the family navigate the complex and shifting currents of war and politics and save Liat while holding onto the values and ideals that have defined their lives?

Holding Liat sensitively portrays the experiences of a family thrust unwillingly into the spotlight and desperately clinging to each other and to hope as conflict rages around them.
