After School

After School

The JCC After School program emphasizes learning, friendships & active recreation. Like nearly all programs at the JCC, After School is inclusive and children of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend.

In addition to a safe and enriching program, we also offer an extensive bus pick-up system. We provide bus service for 1st through 6th graders at a number of schools in Salt Lake City. The program runs the length of a 9-month school year and includes most full school days. For those days when school is out, we have a number of School Break Camps.

Once here at the JCC, kids have a variety of options, including:

  • Onsite rock climbing & swimming
  • Cooking & nutrition
  • Staff role modeling & social skills
  • Homework lab
  • Field trips, art & outdoor activities
  • Diversity & mulitcultural programming
  • Flexible scheduling and payment options

We will consider picking up from other schools. All we need is a few children from one school. Don't hesitate to ask about your child's school.
