Throughout the year, the JCC offers swim lessons – group lessons, private & semi-private.

Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons*

Let us pair you with one of our American Red Cross Certified instructors. We offer lessons for the beginner through the most advanced. Lessons may be scheduled around your child's busy schedule. Ages 2 - 17.

Group & Parent-Tot Swim Lessons

Would you like your little ones to get the swim lessons they need in the outdoor pool? Join us for lunchtime lessons at a special price for Early Childhood Center students.

All levels welcome and Mom and Tot class offered at the same time. JCC members only! This program is a 2-week session with a total of 8 classes.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

Get the best job in the world – save lives, stay fit and enjoy the summer weather! Sign up for the LGT certification class and apply to our team of lifeguards for the best summer you've ever had. Cost includes books, breathing mask and training equipment.

Prerequisites: Applicants must be able to swim 500 yards freestyle
Ages: You must be 15 or older by the day of the exam (May 19)
Date: May 7 - 19, 2012
Time: Monday - Thursday, 6 - 9pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm
Cost: $160 (JCC members); $180 (Non-JCC members)

FAQs

I'm interested in the JCC, but I'm not Jewish.

There is no requirement that our members be Jewish. In fact, the majority of those using the JCC comes from other religious backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.

Is the fitness center closed for Jewish holidays?

Sometimes. For particularly holy days, the center will close. We try to limit the number of days the facility is completely closed. Closure will always be posted well in advance and always listed on our calendar. We do close at sundown on Fridays, but the facility is open Saturdays – though our Group Fitness offerings are limited on Saturday.
