Biddy Basketball League

Biddy Ball is ideal for younger players. We lower the baskets and modify the rules to emphasize moderate, yet fun, competition.

Request a specific team for your child or we can place your child on a team.

Cost: $65 (JCC members); $85 (non-members)

Ages: 5-8

Game times:
Kindergartners, Tuesdays
1st/2nd graders, Wednesdays
Game times, TBA

2011-2012 schedule:
Practice, Nov. 28 - Dec. 17
Games, Jan. 12 - April 12

Registration:
Through Nov. 21

As part of the league, players will participate in:

Jr Jazz jersey
8 games and 3 practices
Jazz player appearance at EnergySolutions Arena
Utah Jazz game ticket and dinner coupon*

*Due to work stoppage involving the NBA and NBA Players Union, Utah Jazz ticketts for the 2011-12 season are not guaranteed to be available. In the event tickets are not available, participants will receive a voucher for a future game.

FAQs

I'm interested in the JCC, but I'm not Jewish.

There is no requirement that our members be Jewish. In fact, the majority of those using the JCC comes from other religious backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.

Is the fitness center closed for Jewish holidays?

Sometimes. For particularly holy days, the center will close. We try to limit the number of days the facility is completely closed. Closure will always be posted well in advance and always listed on our calendar. We do close at sundown on Fridays, but the facility is open Saturdays – though our Group Fitness offerings are limited on Saturday.
