Yoga

Like our other group fitness classes, we offer an extensive set of yoga courses. The JCC has sessions designed for the beginner to the advanced yoga student. Whether you're looking for a relaxing, restorative session or an intense & challenging class, or even something in between, the JCC has a yoga course for you.

Ashtanga Yoga

This is a 90-minute class based on the Primary Ashtanga Series. Ashtanga Yoga is a specific series of poses which are held for a predefined number of breaths to open the body through the alignment of movement and breath. It's challenging & designed for intermediate & experienced students.

Yoga Flow

Sculpt a leaner & stronger body while releasing stress & fatigue. Yoga Flow is a challenging mind-body flow format which incorporates breathing & mental focus for a complete yoga experience. Yoga Flow is suitable for novice & intermediate levels.

Power Yoga

The Power Yoga class incorporates the Ashtanga format. Ashtanga Yoga is a specific series of poses which are held for a predefined number of breaths to open the body through the alignment of movement and breath. The class will help take body balance, flexibility, strength & relaxation to a higher level. Be ready for a sweat-inducing, mind-body session. All levels welcome.

Gentle Yoga

This is the perfect session for the evening. This restorative class is the perfect transition from a stressful date to restful sleep. The class is 75 minutes & all levels are welcome.

Sun/Moon Yoga

In our Sun/Moon class, you will experience the Hatha Yoga format, which is part power, part restorative. This class will challenge & delightfully relax your body & mind. All levels are welcome.
