HOME >ADULT & JEWISH > Jewish Lobby Activities Jewish Lobby Activities Lobby Shabbat Once a month, AfterSchool participants return from various fieldtrips and fill the floor of the JCC lobby for a special Shabbat with master storyteller Debbie Kesner-Steinberg. Children from Kindergarten through seventh grade share in the magic of Jewish Holiday stories, and fill the building with traditional Hebrew songs. AfterSchool children love the yummy Challah bread and are eager to help Debbie with the prayers. Members who pass by will sometimes slow down and welcome the Sabbath with us. Lobby Shabbat is a wonderful occasion during which ancient traditions and prayers are passed on to a new generation of youth.
