What Are You Doing After School?
We hope that everyone has enjoyed their summer! The school year is fast approaching and we want to let you know that the I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Afterschool program will begin registering on August 6. Our program was very popular last year and we encourage all families to register early and ensure a place for their children. Please note that our program only accommodates children in grades 1-6. Afterschool runs from August 27, 2007 - June 5, 2008 and will include most full days of school. Afterschool hours run from the time school is out until 6:00 PM Monday - Friday. We will pick up schools with early release on Fridays. We are planning to pick up from the following schools for the 2007 - 2008 year:

Beacon Heights Elementary
Bonneville Elementary
Ensign Elementary
Hawthorne Elementary
Highland Park Elementary
Indian Hills Elementary
McGillis School
Oakridge Elementary
Redeemer Lutheran School
Uintah Elementary
Wasatch Elementary

Please Note: We will consider pick up from other schools if a minimum of 8 children are interested

Afterschool participants will take part in group (co-ed with children from similar grades) activities and fieldtrips on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday will be individual choice activity days, where each child may choose which activity they participate in. Choice programming is built around the following 3 disciplines:
1. Sports & Fitness 2. Arts & Creativity 3. Lifeskills & Learning

Typical Afterschool Day

Monday - Thursday
3:00 - 4:00 Free Time
4:00 - 4:15 Snack Time
4:15 - 5:30 Group Activity
5:30 - 6:00 Home Work and Pick Up
Friday
12:45 - 1:45 Free Time
1:45 - 4:15 Fieldtrip
4:15 - 4:30 Shabbat and Snack.

5 days a week:

Members - $275/month

Non-Members - $415/month

3 days a week:

Members - $236/month

Non-Members - $355/month

1 day a week:

Members - $110/month

Non-Member - $176/month

Non-refundable registration fee of $25 to be included with first payment.
